Delegate Mizeur was elected to the House of Delegates in 2006 and has been a member of the Appropriations Committee since 2009.  She is currently a small business owner and operates an organic farm in the Eastern Shore. She was elected to the Takoma Park City Council in 2003 and appointed by President Obama to the Executive Committee of the DNC and the White House advisory group on health reform.  Delegate Mizeur was also a key architect of Senator John Kerry’s health care and disabilities platform and served as the Maryland State Director for the Kerry-Edwards campaign in 2004.  Running Mate: Pastor Delmon Coates
