	Bio	Delegate Davis was first elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in 1994 at the age of 27, one of the youngest African-Americans elected to the Maryland General Assembly. He was appointed Chairman of the House Economic Matters Committee on January 8, 2003.  He currently serves as Deputy Director, Office of Community Relations and his responsibilities include oversight of the Common Ownership Communities, Mediation, Community Outreach, and the 311 Call Center divisions. He was also an administrator with the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, the state Department of Labor, Licensing, Regulation (1999-2002), and the Prince George’s County Council (1989- 1994).
