	Bio	Mr. Jones is the first African American law enforcement officer in Marshal Service history to be promoted from within the ranks to Senior Executive Staff.  With more than 26 years of exemplary service, his career span includes serving as a Marshall in the Virgin Islands, Supervisory Deputy in Puerto Rico, Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal for the Northern District of Georgia, Assistant Director for the Prisoner Services Division which was renamed the Witness Security and Prisoner Operations Division and, officially promoted to Senior Executive staff August 2001. After retiring in January 2014 Mr. Jones is ready to serve the residents of Prince George’s County.
