Mr. Knotts is a lifelong resident of Prince George's County and former member of the Prince George's County Council, representing District 8, from 2002 to 2010 (vice-chair, 2002-03; chair, 2003-04) and served as Vice-Chair, Planning, Zoning and Economic Development Committee, 2009-10. He is also a Vietnam Veteran, US Marine Corps and former Strategic Management Specialist for WSSC, and a Minority Business Enterprise Officer. He is well known for his innovative Builder’s jobs program and 'SAFE SUMMER' youth program. |
