Mr. Canales is the former President of FOP Lodge 89 Fraternal Order of police and has resided in the County for over 24 years. He currently serves on the Bowie City Ethics Commission and Bowie Democratic Club. He is a member of the Disabled American Veterans, as well as the Veterans of Foreign Wars Association. He represented the United States Air Force (USAF) in presidential ceremonies held in the District of Columbia and throughout the country. He was also stationed at Osan Air Force Base in South Korea and during his service with the military, was awarded a USAF Commendation and a USAF Achievement Medal. |
