Delegate Levi served in the House of Delegates from (2007-2011). Many of her bills and initiatives on education and crime made the front pages of the Washington Post.  Her supporters have called her “The Fixer” and, because of her law, thousands of truant students in the state have had to think twice about missing school if they wanted their learner’s permit on time.  Her advanced math project won a $1.1 million grant to provide free summer math camps to over 400 students.
