	Bio	Ms. Owens currently works as a Compliance Supervisor for the Dept. of Special Education in Prince George’s County Public Schools where she specializes in educational advocacy to support families of children with disabilities.  She is a community activist and has served as past President and Vice President of the Hampton’s Community Association of Brandywine.  Ms. Owens is Vice Chair of the Prince George’s County Democratic Central Committee, a member of the United Democratic Women of Maryland, and member of the District V Police Precinct Coffee Club.
