After 3 years in existence, the PFC Coalition has established itself as a key organization to provide outreach and education in areas supported by our committees:

Nonprofit Capacity Building - For our nonprofit members we provide an assessment of their priorities and needs and encourage partnerships on grant opportunities.  We also host an Annual Nonprofit Conference in April

Business Development
- For our businesses we provide an assessment of their priorities and needs, encourage partnerships on contract opportunities, and provide workshops throughout the year. The “On Location” service provides visibility by bringing the customer and clients to your site.

Housing and Home Ownership
-  Under the mission of PFCC Housing and home ownership committee we will bring more housing counseling resources to Prince George's County and serve as an outreach arm. We will also focus on empowering HOAs to deliver effective community and association services

Re-entry
- Under the mission of  PFCC Re-entry committee we will look at bringing resources to the 1,500 individuals released each month in Prince George’s County with a focus on workforce development. We also serve on a statewide coalition, MAJR, to address reform of the MD Criminal Justice System.

Storm Water Management
- In 2013, we hosted a Meet the Funder event and invited Chesapeake Bay Trust (CBT) to talk about grant opportunities.  Our focus in the next 3 years will be to provide outreach and education on Storm Water Management for churches, nonprofits, and home owners in the County.

Construction, Renovation and Energy
-  Under the mission of the PFCC Construction Committee, we are identifying major development projects in the County and Storm Water Management projects where we can partner and engage our minority and small businesses

Technology
- Under the mission of the PFCC Technology Committee, we will provide technology training and services, create partnerships and pursue contracts and grants.

Public Safety
- Under the mission of the PFCC Public Safety Committee we will host workshops and town halls on Bullying, Domestic Violence, School Violence and Human Trafficking.

Financial Literacy
- In partnership with the Comptroller of the State of Maryland we will bring Financial Literacy Programs to the County.

Health
- Under the mission of the PFCC Health Committee, we will identify partners for collaboration and partnerships to address the health disparities in the County.

Grants Development
- The PFC Coalition currently serves on a statewide advisory committee with the Governor’s Grant’s Office to look at streamlining the grant process, how we apply and use federal dollars, and making Maryland more competitive in the process.  In addition, we will work closely with Maryland Park and Planning Foundation to identify grant opportunities.
